The reason it is called an investment is because this is an experience that grows in value over time. I know first hand, as a mother, that this is something you will value for years to come, because I myself have do things like this with my daughter.
The whole experience takes about 3 hours, now let me tell you all you get for this....
the consultation
Before any session begins we like to take some time to get to know my client and understand their story and their needs. We will put our creative minds together and begin to build the concepts for your session - a mood board.
The makeup artist
Meet Chelsea, our in-house makeup and hair artist. For the first hour, you will come to the studio with clean dry hair and face and Chelsea will work her magic. Wait till you meet her, she's AMAZING!
The access
Over the years we have carefully curated the most beautiful gowns, outfits and accessories that WE KNOW will flatter you and photograph well. You will have exclusive access to our luxurious client wardrobe to play dress up!
the session!
Once your beautiful self is ready, we will begin your session. Typically a session lasts about 2-3 hours, which gives us enough time to get into a rhythm and cover all the bases. We will shoot 2-4 different outfits with different backdrops and you will be gently guided through posing and facial expressions the entire time. If you are bringing a young child along, we will provide toys and entertainment.
The reveal
Within a day or two after our session, we will send you a link to your very own private online gallery. Here you will be able to select your top 5 images for professional high end retouching and print. You will also have an opportunity to purchase additional photographs or entire collections. We have gorgeous products for you to store and display your new photographs, including memory boxes, albums and wall art. All prints are printed archivally with special inks meant to last 100 years! Our favourites are the memory boxes and albums, both hand crafted in Poland.
Creative editing
We offer two tiers of editing styles to our clients. Some prefer more of the "natural" lifestyle editorial kind of editing. Others gravitate towards my signature style of high end retouching which involves magazine quality retouching of the skin, body, hair and composition.
